The Canadian Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Stephen Gaspar 3 and a half stars.
Religion of Peace?: Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn't - Robert Spencer 3 and a half stars.
Revenge of the Witch - Joseph Delaney, Patrick Arrasmith Could've done without all the Church bashing but the rest of the book was so good it made up for that.
When the Sirens Were Silent - Mike Smith The only thing wrong with it was it wasn't longer.
The Nose - Nikolai Gogol, Kevin Hawkes Not the edition that I read, but that edition isn't in Goodreads yet, so there you go. :)
Sherlock Holmes and the Mutilated Cattle - Phillip Duke 2 and a half stars.
Tea with Emma (The Teacup Novellas, #1) - Diane Moody 3 and a half stars. Good Austen themed novella based around Emma. Very readable.
Practical Philosophy: The Greco-Roman Moralists (Great Courses) - Luke Timothy Johnson As an ex-Benedictine monk, Johnson is at his best talking about pagan philosophy as opposed to when he talks about Christianity.
Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America - Mark R. Levin, Adam Grupper 3 & a half stars. This book is worth it just for the chapters on Alexis de Tocqueville.
Chinese Box Mysteries Set (Vols. I & II) - Sherlock Holmes - Dan Kilcup 2 & a half stars
A Reader's Guide Through the Wardrobe: Exploring C. S. Lewis's Classic Story - Leland Ryken;Marjorie Lamp Mead Really three & a half stars. I took a half star off for them missing the distinction between what role magic plays in Lewis' works & what role it plays in the Harry Potter series & also failing to realize in Harry Potter magical ability is an innate trait & not some occultic power. Other than that, though, the book was excellent.
Just Do Something: A Liberating Approach to Finding God's Will - Kevin DeYoung About 3 and a half stars.
The Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - John Joseph Adams, Christopher Roden, H. Paul Jeffers, Barbara Roden 3 and a half stars.
He Remembers the Barren - Katie Schuermann, Melissa Degroot, John Pless A really excellent & fantastic book. Really hits to the heart of infertility issues & is compassionate & empathetic because of the personal experience of the author. But most of all it's dripping & overflowing with the compassion & good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Good also for men to read, especially pastors, but also men who are struggling with infertility too. A lot of things hit home for me as my wife & I married late in life & had fertility issues. While it hasn't been too much of a loss for me not to have children, I do have twinges every now & then wondering what it'd be like to initiate a child into the cult of Cubs fandom or of sharing Lewis, Tolkien, & Rowling with them.
The Blacksmith's Son (Mageborn, #1) - Michael G. Manning To briefly sum it up, it was ok. Easy to read but with shallow characterization.
The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series #4) - Rick Riordan Really 3 and a half stars.
